What was accomplished

●       Live video streaming from the gimbal camera was integrated into the ground station display, alongside the existing telemetry and mapping dashboard.

●       The mapping and detection pipeline was connected to the ground station in real time, allowing detected target coordinates to appear directly on the live map view.

●       A full software integration test was run using recorded flight data, confirming telemetry, video, mapping, and detection all displayed correctly together on the ground station.


Challenges and solutions

The main challenge was managing bandwidth across the LAN link, since live video, telemetry, and mapping data were all competing for throughput simultaneously. The team resolved this by compressing the video stream and prioritizing telemetry and detection data, ensuring no critical flight data was delayed.

Support the hardware team during final avionics integration and flight testing, verifying live telemetry, mapping, and detection performance in real flight conditions.
